Mohali, May 9 (IBNS): In a crucial match for them, Kings XI Punjba bowlers managed to clinch 14 runs victory against Kolkata Knight Riders here on Tuesday.

After posting competitive 167 runs for the loss of six wickets, Kings bowlers restricted KKR at 153 runs for six.

Apart from Chris Lynn's heroic 84 runs, the rest of the batting lineup struggled for two times champions KKR.

He hammered eight boundaries and three sixes in his knock.

As Lynn got run out, the rest of the batting lineup failed to keep the momentum going for the visitors.

Losing wickets at regular intervals did not help the cause for KKR.

Mohit Sharma  and

Rahul Tewatia picked up two wickets each for Kings.

Earlier, riding on Glenn Maxwell's 25-ball 44 runs knock, Kings posted 167 runs on the scorecard.
