Sultan Azlan Shah Cup: India beat NZ 4-0 to clinch bronze

Ipoh, May 6 (IBNS): In the bronze medal match of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament, India beat New Zealand here on Saturday.

India won the bronze medal by beating the opponents 4-0.

Defender Rupinder Pal Singh (17th, 27th minutes) hammered two penalty corners in the second quarter while the other scorers S.V. Sunil (48th) and Talwinder Singh (60th) who added two as India registered a handsome 4-0 victory over the opponents.

India ensured the bronze medal finish in the tournament.

India were runner's up in the last edition of the tournament.
