Bangalore, Mar 5 (IBNS): Australia finished the second day of the second Test against India in style by adding 48 runs to the lead.

At the end of the day, Australia stood at 237 runs for the loss of six wickets.

Matthew Wade (25) and Mitchell Starc (14) are currently at the crease and will resume the proceedings on Monday.

Shaun Marsh (66) and Matt Renshaw (60) showed some charisma with the willows as the home side took a slim lead against India.

Ravindra Jadeja shined with the ball for India as he picked up three wickets.

Ishant Sharma, apart from teasing Australian batsmen with his funny facial expressions, bowled brilliantly.

R Ashwin opened the gate for India as he took the wicket of David Warner (33) earlier in the morning.
