Hyderabad, Feb 10 (IBNS): A belligerent Virat Kohli took apart the Bangladeshi attack as India finished the morning session of day two of the one-off Test on a strong note, here on Friday.

At lunch, the home side have put on 477 runs for the loss of four wickets.

The lone casualty was Virat's deputy Ajinkya Ranahe, who departed for a well-compiled innings of 82 runs.

Rahane and Kohli also put on a 222 runs for the fourth wicket.

The Indian skipper however continued in the same form, hitting boundaries at will and sending the visitors for a leather hunt.

Virat will resume his innings at 191 runs and look to complete his fourth Test double century.

His 230-ball innings consisted of 23 boundaries.

For Bangladesh, Taijul Islam accounted for the wicket of Rahane.

Like the first day, the Bangladeshi skipper too missed a regulation stumping chance, giving counterpart Wriddhiman Saha a reprieve.
