Copa America: Brazil and Uruguay announce injury replacement

Chicago, Jun 1 (IBNS) The Copa America Centenario Medical Committee approved changes to the Brazil and Uruguay roster on Tuesday.

A report in www.ca2016.com read, "The Medical Committee ruled that injuries to Brazil midfielder Rafinha and goalkeeper Ederson as well as Uruguay midfielder Cristian Rodriguez were serious enough to prevent the players from taking part in the competition."

Rafinha will be replaced by Lucas and Ederson will be replaced by Marcelo Grohe on the Brazil roster, while Rodriguez will be replaced by defender Diego Laxalt on the Uruguay roster.

Brazil: Lucas (Paris Saint-Germain, FRA) replaces Rafinha (Barcelona, ESP)

Brazil: Marcelo Grohe (Gremio, BRA) replaces Ederson (Benfica, POR)

Uruguay: Diego Laxalt (Genoa, ITA) replaces Cristian Rodriguez (Independiente, ARG)
