Kolkata, Apr 18 (IBNS) Dipa Karmakar has created history by becoming the first Indian woman to qualify for the Olympics.

Karmakar has also won a Common Wealth Games and Asian Championship bronze medal.
So far, only 11 gymnasts have represented India post independence in the global sporting extravaganza.
