Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik orders probe into crowd trouble fiasco in Barabati Stadium

Bhubaneswar, Oct 6 (IBNS): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday ordered a probe into the crowd trouble incident at Cuttack's Barabati Stadium during a T20 match between India and South Africa on Monday.

He directed the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) and the police to prevent the occurrence of similar incident in future.

"Anguished over unfortunate incident at Barabati T20 yesterday.Directed OCA and police to prevent recurrence in future.Home Secy to enquire," Patnaik tweeted.


South Africa beat India to take a series winning 2-0 lead following the win in the second match in Cuttack's Barabati Stadium.
