Sania Mirza-Rohan Bopanna suffer defeat in Australian Open mixed doubles clash

Melbourne: Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza had a heartbreak as she lost her final mixed doubles final match here on Friday.

Sania was playing her last grand slam.

Sania and her mixed doubles partner Rohan Bopanna were defeated by  Brazil's pair of Luisa Stefani/Rafael Matos in the final clash.

The final scoreline read 6-7, 2-6.

The match lasted for  just over an hour.

Sania will retire next month after playing a tournament in Dubai.
