Indian cricket star Virat Kohli on Saturday smashed the 72nd international century of his career while playing in the 3rd ODI against Bangladesh.

He hit 113 runs in his innings.

He surpassed Australia legend Ricky Ponting to move to the second spot in the list.

He is just behind Sachin Tendulkar in the list now.

He needs to score five more centuries to overtake his fellow countryman.

This was also Kohli's 44th ODI century.

Meanwhile, Kohli's wife actress Anushka Sharma gave him a shoutout on Instagram over the century.
