
Aussie batsman Travis Head tests COVID-19 positive
Melbourne/UNI; Cricket Australia (CA) on Friday announced batsman Travis Head tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the fourth Ashes Test.
"Travis returned positive Covid-19 result earlier today. He is asymptomatic and we anticipate that he will be available to play in the fifth Ashes Test in Hobart," CA said in a statement.

As a precautionary measure Mitchell Marsh, Nic Maddinson and Josh Inglis have joined the Australian squad as additional cover.

Earlier, ICC match referee David Boon and England head coach Chris Silverwood were also moved into isolation after testing positive for the virus.
Australia and England are currently playing The Ashes.
