Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal ties nuptial knot with Dhanashree Verma

Mumbai/IBNS: Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal tied the nuptial knot with girlfriend Dhanashree Verma on Tuesday.

Sharing pictures on social media, Chahal, who is a regular feature in India's limited-over fixtures, wrote, "22.12.20. We started at “Once upon a time” and found “Our happily ever after,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond!"

The cricketer and Dhanashree- a doctor turned choreographer- got engaged on Aug 8.

Even though a few months old, the couple has managed to strike a chord with netizens with their often identical posts on social media and PDAs.

For the marriage, the bride wore a maroon lehenga, looking gorgeous, while the groom complimented her with an ivory sherwani and a maroon turban.

Making his debut in Jun 2016 against Zimbabwe, Chahal has played 54 One Day International (ODI) matches for India and has picked 92 wickets. He made his T20 International debut later that month against the same opposition. He has 59 T20 International wickets in his kitty.

Apart from his national duty, Chahal is a mainstay in the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), which is now led by Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
