Kolkata Pink Ball Test: Bangladesh struggle at 73/6 at lunch, Indian bowlers dominate proceedings

Kolkata, Nov22 (IBNS)  Bangladesh is fighting with theirback to the wall and scored 73 runs by losing six wickets at lunch on the opening day of the historic day-night Test match against India at  Eden Gardens here Friday.

At the break, Litton Das and Nayeem Hasan were at the crease scoring 24 and 0 respectively.

Bangladesh batsmen, who failed to negotiate Indian pace and swing and were out cheaply, included Shadman Islam,Imrul Kayes, Mominul Haque, MdMithun, Mushfiqur Rahim and  Mahmudullah.

However, only opener Shadman Islam tried to put up some fight and scored 29 facing 52 deliveries.

Out of the Indian pace trio, who dominated the show in the first session today, Umesh Yadav bagged three wickets and was followed by Ishant Sharma with two scalps and Md Shami got one wicket.
