Kolkata/IBNS: Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who was rested for the limited overs series against Bangladesh, will once again lead the squad in the T20 and ODI series against West Indies.

Kuldeep Yadav, pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have returned to the squad.

Shami, who is bowling exceptionally well in the Test format, has been added to the squad, giving a hint that the selectors are trying to find the right combination for the T20 World Cup next year.

The Indian pacer had last played a T20I match in 2017 against the West Indies.

While Sanju Samson could not find a place once again in the squad, selectors still put their faith on wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant.

Meanwhile, several netizens have started trolling Pant over his selection.
