Hyderabad, Apr 30 (IBNS): Australia cricketer David Warner, who has left Indian Premier League midway to join his national side to prepare for the World Cup, wrote an emotional message for his Sunrisers Hyderabad team.

He wished his team for the remaining of the tournament.

" I can not express my gratitude enough to the @sunrisershydfamily for your support, not just this season but also for the last year. It’s been a long time waiting but it was great to be back amongst the boys. Owners, support staff, players, social media team and the fans thank you very much for welcoming me back with open arms," Warner posted on Instagram.

Warner said he enjoyed playing for the team in India.

"I thoroughly enjoyed being back out there swinging that willow. Good luck to the guys for the rest of the tournament and finish 💪🏻. #family#orangearmy #humbull😂 #hashtag," he said.

David Warner and his Sunrisers beat Kings XI Punjab in an IPL match on Monday.
