21st KIFF International Forum of New Cinema opens on November 15

Kolkata, Nov 16 (IBNS). The International Forum of New Cinema initiated by Cine Central, a film society that spearheaded the movement towards good cinema and was integrated into the Kolkata International Film Festival some years back, will inaugurate its screening programme at Kolkata’s Elite Theatre on November 15, 2015 at 6.00 pm by legendary actress Madhabi Mukherjee. Cine Central celebrates its Golden Jubilee this year.

Kolkata, November 16 (IBNS) – The 21st Kolkata International Film Festival will throw its doors open on November 14 at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in the presence of Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal. Luminaries from Indian cinema gracing the occasion are Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Moushumi Chatterjee and Sharmila Tagore who this year, is chairing the International Jury to award the trophy to the Best Women Director this year.
