'That expression of Kiara Advani stayed with me': Influencer alleges uncomfortable flight experience with Kiara Advani
Social media influencer Kartikey Tiwari has shared a video on Instagram recounting what he described as an awkward encounter with actors Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan during a flight from Jaipur to Mumbai.
According to Kartikey, the incident occurred while he was travelling in business class with his mother. Coincidentally, Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan, who had recently starred together in Satyaprem Ki Katha, were also on the same flight.
Kartikey said the situation began with a brief seating mix-up when his mother, unaware of the assigned seat numbers, momentarily sat in Kiara Advani’s seat.
He claimed that once the cabin crew pointed out the mistake, his mother immediately shifted to her correct seat without any disagreement.
However, Kartikey alleged that Kiara Advani appeared visibly displeased by the error. In the video, he said her facial expression suggested discomfort at a non-celebrity occupying her seat, even briefly.
“That expression of Kiara Advani stayed with me,” he said, adding critical remarks about the actor.
The influencer also commented on Kartik Aaryan’s behaviour during the flight, describing it as distant. He claimed the actor avoided interaction with the cabin crew and spoke only to Kiara Advani throughout the journey.
Kartikey further alleged that after the flight landed, a member of the cabin crew approached the actors for a photograph, which both declined, citing time constraints.
The video has since sparked debate on social media, with users divided over the claims. While some praised Kartikey’s mother for remaining calm and unbothered, others criticised Kiara Advani’s alleged conduct, calling it rude.
Several users questioned the actors’ behaviour, while others urged caution, pointing out that the account reflects a single individual’s perspective.
Adding to the buzz, Punjabi singer Karan Aujla reposted Kartikey’s reel on his Instagram handle, amplifying the discussion online.
Neither Kiara Advani nor Kartik Aaryan has responded publicly to the claims so far.
