Three years after his Khakhee: The Bihar Chapter was premiered on Netflix, creator Neeraj Pandey's Khakhee: The Bengal Chapter is all set to release on the OTT platform.

The teaser of Khakhee: The Bengal Chapter was unveiled by the makers on Monday.

The 1:12-minute teaser shows a full blown war between gangsters and police in the city of Kolkata.

The new installment is led by Bengali film superstars Jeet, Prosenjit Chatterjee, actors Saswata Chatterjee, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Chitrangada Singh among others.

Neeraj Pandey heads the installment as a creator while Debatma Mandal, Tushar Kanti Ray have directed the sequel.

Pandey shared, "With Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, we celebrate our continued partnership with Netflix in building a franchise where the audience will witness a culturally rich region, bustling streets of Kolkata, new faces, new conflicts, and a story that is just as intense but uniquely its own.

"In line with the trademark Khakee flavour, in the upcoming chapter, the stakes are higher, the truths are darker, and the challenges are grittier. I am sure the audiences will be delighted with the powerful ensemble and can’t wait for their reactions as they experience the intensity and drama on screen. It was a sheer delight working with our directors Debatma, Tushar and the entire crew  who worked tirelessly to bring this story to life."

Synopsis

In the Bengal of the early 2000s, where Gangsters and Politicians reign supreme, a decorated cop's death paves the way for a fearless IPS Arjun Maitra — an unrelenting force ready to take on the chaos and restore justice.
