Talvar opens to packed houses at 40th Toronto International Film Festival

Mumbai, Sept 22 (IBNS): The 40th Toronto International Film Festival showcased the world premier of the Meghna Gulzar's Talvar.

Talvar had created such an anticipation that all the shows of the movie were house full and the tickets were sold out within 90 minutes for all the shows.

The theater has a capacity of 1200 seat and still there were people who didn't get seats to watch the film. The reviews garnered by the movie are very strong and the movie has been loved by people unanimously.

The premier was held at Ryersen Theatre, one of the biggest theaters at the festival. The film has gathered great buzz over its screenplay and the story that it’s based on.

Present at the premiere were Priti Shahani,  the co producer of Talvar, Vishal Bhardwaj, Meghna Gulzar and Irrfan Khan.   

Talvar is based on the Aarushi Talwar murder case and is all set to hit theaters on October 2.
