Taapsee Pannu starrer Thappad releases today

Mumbai/IBNS: Actress Taapsee Pannu starrer director Anubhav Sinha's Hindi film Thappad hit the big screens on Friday.

The film is centred on Amu (Taapsee Pannu) who attempts divorce her husband for getting slapped by her spouse at a party, though several people try to preach her tolerance to violence.

Thappad is the second film where Pannu has worked with Sinha.

Earlier she was the lead actor in Mulk which starred veteran actor Rishi Kapoor.

The film is produced by Sinha and Managing Director of T-Series Bhushan Kumar.
