Subhash Ghai's film school to 'Celebrate Cinema'

Mumbai, May 9 (IBNS): Bollywood director Subhash Ghai's Film School Whistling Woods International is all set to host 'Celebrate Cinema' in two action packed days in the world of Indian Cinema on the May 17 and 18 at the campus.
The first two years of the ‘Cinema 100’ celebrations were extremely successful and saw more than 15,000 patrons visiting the schools’ campus at Film City and this year, the event is even bigger and better, an official statement said. 
 
The event will comprise of panels, free workshops, screenings and rare exhibits with special focus on young filmmakers, socially relevant filmmaking and women in cinema. 
 
The anticipated panelists and speakers for the event include Raju Hirani, Hansal Mehta, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Manisha Koirala, Vidya Balan, Ayan Mukerji, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotraand and  Alia Bhatt among others.
 
The event will be inaugurated by Rekha, Gulzaar and Subhash Ghai himself. 
 
“Looking at the response and feedback of the attendees (over the last 2 years), we will be continuing this ‘open-for-all’ event as an annual affair, calling it The Celebrate Cinema Festival,” said Ghai adding: “It’s going to be a super show."
