Shraddha Kapoor writes heartwarming post as her Aashiqui 2 completes seven years

Mumbai/IBNS: It has been seven years since Shraddha Kapoor made her impact in Bollywood industry with the movie Aashiqui 2 and now she posted a heart-winning message to mark the occasion.

"7 years of Aashiqui 2 today!Thank you forever @mohit11481 for this gift of a lifetime@VisheshFilms for believing @shufta20 for your exquisitely beautiful writing, Aditya for being an unbelievably amazing costar & the entire team who gave their everything to this precious film," she tweeted.

The movie also featured actor Aditya Roy Kapur. 

The movie was directed by Mohit Suri.

The movie had emerged as one of the hits of 2013.

An adaptation of the 1954 romance A Star Is Born, it serves as a spiritual successor to the 1990 musical film Aashiqui, and stars Shaad Randhawa and Mahesh Thakur in supporting roles, as well as Salil Acharya in a cameo appearance in the beginning of the film.

The soundtrack to the film became very popular after its release; the songs "Tum Hi Ho" and "Sunn Raha Hai" topped the charts across various platforms in India, as did the songs "Chahun Main Ya Naa" and "Milne Hai Mujhse Aayi".
