Showman Of The Year is none other than Sajid Nadiadwala!

Mumbai, Oct 20 (IBNS): The year 2014 has been a glorious year for the Nadiadawala Grandson Entertainment (NGE). Sajid Nadiadwala has delivered back-to-back hit films in different genres of cinema this year.

With movies like Kick, Heropanti, Highway and 2 States doing so well at the box office, it is right to say that 2014 has been a good year for producer- director Said Nadiadwala.

To honour his  achievements, the producer-director was honored with a special award titled ‘Showman Of The Year’ at the Star Box Office India Awards ceremony recently.

The award has been named after the legendary Raj Kapoor who played a pioneer role in the Indian film industry. According to the Kapoor family, the jury team for the award, Sajid is an apt person to receive this honor. The producer-director was also conferred with the best debutant director award for his mega blockbuster Kick.

At the ceremony, Nadiadawala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) bagged several awards in various categories including Best Film for Kick. Currently busy with Phantom, Tamasha and Housefull 3, Sajid is said to be investing a lot of his time in a number of new movies for the upcoming year.
