Mumbai/IBNS: Shoojit Sircar's 2015 film Piku weaved a father-daughter relationship which was aesthetically portrayed by acting legend Amitabh Bachchan and Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone.

Ten years later, Shoojit took to Instagram to drop a BTS picture of the film, which also starred late Irrfan Khan in the lead.

In the picture, Shoojit can be seen having an intense discussion with Deepika, who played the titular role.

Shoojit captioned the picture saying, "“PIKU” BTS, an intense discussion before the burst out scene."

The director has probably referred to one of the final scenes where Deepika had lashed out at his father, played by Bachchan, for cycling at the age of 70 during his stay in his hometown Kolkata.

The story revolves around Piku's bonding with her ageing and nagging father Bhaskor Banerjee who suffers from chronic constipation.

The film captured the road trip Piku and Banerjee took from Delhi to Kolkata.

In the course of their journey which also included the taxi firm owner played by late Irrfan Khan, several social aspects including women empowerment have been touched upon.

The film was released on May 8, 2015.
