Dhurandhar 2
Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ to storm theatres on March 19 — Makers release trailer that hints at massive action showdown
Actor Ranveer Singh ended the year with an unexpected bang after his spy thriller Dhurandhar set the box office on fire in December and emerged as one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of the year.
The excitement intensified on March 7 when the makers dropped the much-anticipated trailer of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, popularly referred to as Dhurandhar 2, igniting massive buzz among movie enthusiasts.
The three-minute-25-second trailer promises a bigger and more explosive sequel. In the film, Ranveer Singh appears to take control of Pakistan’s Lyari town following the death of Rehman Dakait, a character portrayed by Akshaye Khanna.
The trailer also reveals Singh in dual avatars — Jaskirat Singh Rangi and Hamza — hinting at a layered and intense storyline.
Packed with high-octane action, the film also features R. Madhavan as strategic mastermind Ajay Sanyal, Arjun Rampal as ISI Major Iqbal, and Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam.

The trailer offers glimpses of the explosive moments audiences can expect when the film hits theatres on March 19, delivering punchy dialogues and action sequences designed to spark loud reactions from the crowd.
After its successful theatrical run, the first film Dhurandhar also entered Netflix’s Global Top 10 non-English films list, ranking No. 1 in both India and Pakistan.
The sequel has been written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar. It will release in multiple languages — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Interestingly, the release date coincides with festive celebrations such as Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid al-Fitr, which could boost its box office prospects.
A major box office clash was avoided after southern superstar Yash postponed the release of his upcoming film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups from March 19 to June 4.
Meanwhile, the makers have announced special paid previews on March 18. Sharing the update on X, Ranveer Singh wrote:
