Priyanka Chopra's family drama on 'Jai Gangaajal' sets amuses everyone

Mumbai, Dec 18 (ibns): Priyanka Chopra, who will be next seen playing an IPS officer in Prakash Jha's cop drama 'Jai Gangaajal', recently fell ill during the shooting of the film, which led to a sort of family drama on the sets of the film.

Wonder how? Well, it seems that Priyanka’s ‘bua’ is Punjabi whereas her ‘mausi’ is Bihari and both these ladies landed on the sets of the film in Bhopal to pamper their darling niece.

Now, we have heard that these two women always indulge in a game of friendly one-upmanship and both started a sort of ‘Bihari versus Punjabi’ war over Priyanka Chopra. The bua would cook khichdi for her, while the mausi would pluck neem leaves, which work as a room purifier for Priyanka’s room.

While Jha, being a Bihari, backed the mausi, action director Sham Kaushal, being a Punjabi, sided with the bua, leading to an amusing family drama on the sets, which left everyone amused.

Prakash Jha Productions and Play Entertainment's Jai Gangaajal, which is slated to release on March 4, is written & directed by Prakash Jha and co-produced by Milind Dabke. The theatrical trailer of the film will be unveiled on December 22.
