Newlyweds Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna begin married life by sharing 'simple meal' with fans
Newlyweds Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are soaking in an outpouring of love from fans across India following their wedding on February 26.
As part of their celebrations, the couple organised sweet distribution and Annadanam at temples in several cities.
On Monday, they shared a heartfelt video showing them offering sweets outside the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
Sharing the video, Vijay and Rashmika wrote: “Today, as we begin our life together, our hearts are full. So much of who we are is because of the love we have received from the people across our beautiful country. It means so much to us to share this day and celebration with you by sharing a simple meal. With all our gratitude and love, we seek all your blessings.”

The celebrations extended far beyond Hyderabad, with sweets distributed at temples in Mahbubnagar, Karimnagar, Delhi, Chandigarh, Noida, Ghaziabad, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Mumbai, Jaipur, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Puttaparthi, Kochi, Mysuru, Coorg, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Chennai and Puducherry.
Earlier in the day, the couple performed their gruhapravesam and Satyanarayana Vratam puja at their new home in Thummanapeta, Telangana. Rashmika’s sister Shiman Mandanna and Vijay’s brother Anand Deverakonda were present for the rituals.
Their wedding itself reflected the couple’s cultural roots.
They tied the knot in a traditional Telugu ceremony honouring Vijay’s heritage, followed by a Kodava ceremony celebrating Rashmika’s background. Both ceremonies were held at ITC Mementos in Udaipur.
