Mumbai: Nasirr Khan is always ready to experiment, go the extra length to do something new. During the Covid induced lockdown, the actor, who did not want to sit idle, started his own YouTube channel, ‘Nasirr Napair TV’.

“I tried doing some stuff during the lockdown and slowly started enjoying it. In my show “Unlocked Bollywood” I interviewed Mohd Rafi’s & Keshto Mukherjee’s sons and got to know so much about these 2 legends. I interviewed Paintal saab & his incredible journey as an actor & mime artist. I also spoke with Prod / Dir Sultan Ahmed’s sons who shared so much info on their late father. Also interviewed Deepak Tijori, Atul Srivastav, Hardik Mehta (Dir) & more.

There is so much more to learn and do. And, I don’t want to stop myself from learning something new, finding newer platforms and mediums to explore my craft. The graphics, titles, music, edits everything I have learnt in the lockdown and it done it single-handedly.

My channel is real and relatable. I like to put mainly content related to old cinema in “Bollywood talks with Nasirr”, and also plan to explore content for kids soon,” says the actor, known for TV shows, Woh, Kkusum, Kesar and films like Kaamyaab, Force 2, Wazir.

When Nasirr came into this profession, the internet was not this huge and there was no platform like YouTube. But now the story is different, and we all know how much social media has influenced us all.

“I believe that more avenues create more opportunities. YouTube has become a platform that has opened doors and bank accounts for many struggling people, so I welcome it,” he adds.

Nasirr is hopeful that YouTube is only going to grow big from here. He opines that there is so much that one can do. The best part, according to the actor, is the reach this online platform has. And, once you are able to entertain the audience they will stay loyal to you and encourage you to do more.

“Nowadays the future is endless. Only the creative will survive. I wish I could give some more time to my YouTube channel. It requires dedication, time and creativity. My other commitments keep me occupied, but in future I will try and invest more time into it,” he adds.
