Michelle Yeoh's multiverse movie Everything Everywhere All at Once dominates Oscars

Los Angeles: Everything Everywhere All at Once, starring Michelle Yeoh, won the Best Film award at the Oscars 2023 while actor Brendon Fraser bagged the Best Actor title during a dazzling event in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Malaysian-origin actress Michelle Yeoh clinched the Best Actress award, making her the first person of south-east Asian descent to win the title.

Everything Everywhere All at Once is a 2022 American absurdist comedy-drama film written and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (collectively known as "Daniels"), who also co-produced it with Anthony and Joe Russo.

Brendon Fraser, who had once hit Box Office hits with his Mummy movie series, played the character of a morbidly obese teacher in  The Whale.

The Whale is a 2022 Academy award winning American psychological drama film directed by Darren Aronofsky and written by Samuel D. Hunter, based on his 2012 play of the same name.

The Whale premiered at the 79th Venice International Film Festival on September 4, 2022, and had a limited theatrical release in the United States on December 9, before a wide release on December 21, by A24.
