Mayur Suitings announces Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the new face of the brand

Mumbai, Oct 8 (IBNS): Mayur Suitings, the premium suitings brand, produced by RSWM Limited, has today announced their association with actor par excellence Nawazuddin Siddiqui as their brand ambassador.

Mayur Suitings has proven its strength and appeal as an all-time favourite of the stars – Stars Ki Pasand as they say. Mayur has always celebrated those individuals who have risen to stardom on the strength of their own hard-work, determination and talent.

And that’s mainly the reason why they’ve decided to bring on Nawaz on board joining their glittering line up on stars in the past from:  Shah Rukh Khan, Virender Sehwag, Salman Khan to name a few. Also, Mayur is one of the very few apparel brands that has a strong consumer base and appeal for the heartland of India as well as the metros and with Nawaz’s pan India appeal; this association seemed like a perfect fit.

Speaking about their association with Nawaz, Riju Jhunjhunwala, Managing Director, Mayur Suitings said, “There are not too many Indian brands that have been around for nearly three decades but Mayur has been one such dominant brand in the menswear segment. The company is spending a lot of effort now on new product development and coming up with newer range of collections while also exploring options in extending our brand Mayur into the ready to wear men's segment, from the current suiting and shirting segment only. With added focus on product, branding and overhauling our network to service more of our customers, we have embarked on a mission to double our sales in the next 18-24 months systematically. I thus welcome Nawazuddin into the Mayur family to help us see our mission attain fruition. He embodies everything our brand stands for and together, we hope to make Mayur an even bigger household name than what it is today.”

Talking at the occasion about his thoughts on being the face of Mayur Suitings, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “For years, I've seen and been enamoured by the larger than life ads for Mayur Suitings featuring Shah Rukh, Sehwag and Salman and now seeing my name join that list seems surreal. I am extremely excited to be associated with Mayur Suitings and their vision for a stylish India. Ab Mayur pehen ne ki meri bari."
