Manoj Bajpayee's Bhaiyya Ji earns Rs. 1.3 crore on opening day

Mumbai/IBNS: Actor Manoj Bajpayee starrer Bhaiyya Ji has earned Rs. 1.3 crore on the first day since its release on Friday.

The film, a rustic story, reportedly started at a slow pace but picked up at night.

Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the film is about a former criminal avenging his brother's murder.

Bhaiyya Ji also marks Bajpayee's debut as a producer.

The film has received positive reviews. As per IMDb, the film has got 9.1 out 10 in ratings.

Prior to Bhaiyya Ji, Bajpayee, a senior actor, delivered mesmerising performances in Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai and Joram, which have garnered critical acclaim.
