Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan turns 78 today, celebs pour love for 'Shahenshah' on Twitter

Mumbai/IBNS: Legendary actor and Dadasaheb Phalke Award recipient Amitabh Bachchan, who has been contributing to Indian cinema over a span of more than five decades now, turned 78 on Sunday.

As he turned a year older, celebs and fans have flooded social media with greetings for the Bollywood veteran on his special day.

Big B in his latest tweet thanked his fans and well-wishers for their love and wrote about the "greatest gift" that he received from them.

"Your generosity and love be the greatest gift for me for the 11th .. I cannot possibly ask for more," wrote Bachchan.

The four-time National Award winning actor, who recently recovered from coronavirus, resumed shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 since last month and has been constantly sharing updates from the floor of KBC on social media.

He also announced his upcoming venture with Piku co-star Deepika Padukone. The film will also feature Baahubali star Prabhas.
