American pop singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were seen sharing an intimate moment aboard the singer’s yacht over the weekend, confirming speculation about a possible romance.
Photos from their romantic getaway in Santa Barbara, California, showing the pair sharing intimate moments aboard the pop star's yacht, are making headlines.
The romance speculation began in July 2025 when Perry, 40, and Trudeau, 53, were spotted on a dinner date at Montreal's Le Violon restaurant, with Trudeau later attending Perry's tour concert in Canada.
Recent viral photos showed a shirtless Trudeau and Perry kissing and cuddling on Perry's yacht, intensifying speculation about their relationship.

Eyewitnesses on a nearby whale-watching boat confirmed Trudeau’s identity by his distinctive Haida raven tattoo.
“She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, and then they started making out. "I didn’t realise who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm, and I immediately realised it was Justin Trudeau," a source told The Daily Mail.
Perry had announced her split from Orlando Bloom, 48, with whom she shares a five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, in July 2025.
Perry and Bloom, who were together for almost a decade, announced their split in a joint statement.
“Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting,” the statement read.
The former Canadian PM separated from his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, with whom he shares three children, in August 2023.
Trudeau officially stepped down as Canada’s prime minister, ending his nine-year run in March 2025, citing 'internal battles'.
The viral images of the celebrity pair on social media had led to several criticisms and trolling by the netizens, with users judging Trudeau’s post-political life and Perry’s high-profile relationships.
