James Cameron's Avatar 3 is now officially titled Avatar: Fire and Ash

Director James Cameron and the makers Disney have shared an update on their upcoming project Avatar 3.

The movie is officially titled  Avatar: Fire and Ash.

James Cameron and actors   Zoe Saldaña and Sam Worthington shared the stage at the D23 to show off concept art, not footage, with a look at the fire Na’Vi people.

“I came 7,000 miles from New Zealand for this,” Cameron told to the full house at the Honda Center as quoted y Deadline before revealing the title in a snippet of footage.

“New cultures and settings… you’ll see more of Pandora the planet than you ever see saw before. The new film isn’t what you expect, but it’s definitely what you want,” Cameron said.

The movie will be released on December 19, 2025.
