Jackky Bhagnani, Juno Chopra join hands to remake Ravi Chopra's The Burning Train

Mumbai/IBNS: Producers Jackky Bhagnani and Juno Chopra have joined hands to remake director Ravi Chopra's 1980 film The Burning Train.

The director and lead cast of the film are yet to be announced.

The film will go on floors later this year.

The announcement was made by Bhagnani on Twitter.

He said, "Delighted to announce the remake of #TheBurningTrain in association with my dear friend @junochopra. A classic by Ravi Chopra sir.Hope we do justice to the magic that he created years ago."

Actors Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna, Parveen Babi, Jeetendra and Neetu Singh were the lead actors in Chopra's The Burning Train.

Chopra's film, which was inspired by 1975 Japanese movie The Bullet Train, was about a train which catches fire on its inaugural run from New Delhi to Mumbai.
