Mumbai/IBNS: Rumours have been circulating that Dhurandhar actress Sara Arjun has signed Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film Heer Ranjha.

Some media reports claimed that Sara would play the female lead in the upcoming project.

Reacting to the speculation, casting director Mukesh Chhabra took to social media to dismiss the reports.

In a post on X, Chhabra wrote: “Sara Arjun has not signed any other film. We are just waiting for D2. She has not signed any film and has not met anyone regarding any project. So please relax, guys. I will personally update you about her next project. Just wait. All the other news is only rumours.”

Meanwhile, the 20-year-old actress is gearing up for the release of the sequel to Dhurandhar, titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which is slated to hit theatres on March 19.

Sara played the character Yalina Jamali in Dhurandhar, which released on December 5 and has since emerged as one of the most talked-about films of the year.

The film also starred Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt among others.

Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the sequel will also feature Sara Arjun in a leading role.
