Irrfan Khan a.k.a Simon Masrani from 'Jurassic World' impresses audience

Mumbai, June 18 (IBNS): Actor Irrfan Khan, who is known for his successful international projects, has scored again with his performance with his recent Hollywood film 'Jurassic World'.

The national award winning actor’s Hollywood release saw the biggest global box office weekend till date.

With a staggering collection of $ 524.1 million in its first weekend, the film is all set to create new records.

Irrfan Khan plays the role of Simon Masrani, owner of a newly opened park that houses dinosaurs.

Speaking about his role Irrfan said, “Simon is an entrepreneur and has a unique sense of morality. He nurtured John Hammond's dream and truly wants to educate the common man through entertainment.”

Irrfan’s portrayal of a man with a deep insight in the movie has struck a chord with a global audience.

‘Jurassic World’, which released on June 12 has left behind Avengers' (2012) $207.4 million opening in America, and the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (2011) $314 million mark, internationally.
