Huma Qureshi scales Malaysia's highest peak Mount Kinabalu
Mumbai, May 19 (IBNS): Huma Qureshi has always been a very adventurous person.
Huma whose childhood dream was to go mountaineering, has finally fulfilled it.
Earlier this month, the actress went to Malaysia with her friends where they scaled Mount Kinabalu.
Says Huma “It’s the highest peak in South East Asia, and we climbed 4,095.2 m. I had never done mountaineering, so it was intense. Going up and looking around from there was an amazing experience,” says Huma, who didn’t have to undergo any training before the climb.
She adds, “But you have to be physically fit, so we practised for it a couple of weeks prior to the ascent.”
Describing her mountaineering experience, Huma shares that the first day was quite crazy, as they climbed for six hours.

“We reached midway in the evening, had dinner early and passed out. We woke up around 2 am and started climbing again at 3 am. The idea was to reach the summit before sunrise,” she says.
Huma thoroughly enjoyed her trip and is keen on going for more adventurous trips like this, depending on the availability of time.
