The official teaser for Parineeta, which was recently released and is now trending on YouTube, offers a glimpse of the lead actors, Debchandrima Singha Roy and Gaurav Chakrabarty, portraying the characters Lalita and Shekhar.

The series depicts the historical period through its production design, props, and costumes, while also capturing the turmoil of the freedom movement, particularly the Partition of Bengal.

Powerful imagery, such as crowds chanting "Vande Mataram" and others seeking cover from riots, highlights the makers' commitment to historical accuracy and authenticity.

This romantic series addresses social issues prevalent in pre-Independence India and will be streaming on Hoichoi from August 15.
