Filmfare Awards: Ranveer, Deepika bag top honours

Mumbai, Jan 16 (IBNS) Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Bajirao Mastani emerged as top winners in the 61st Britannia Filmfare Awards, which was staged on Friday night.

Other big winner was Piku, for which the film received the Critics Choice Best Film Award and Amitabh Bachchan grabbed the Best Actor in the same category.

Actress Moushumi Chatterjee received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award for her long spanning career.

Bajirao Mastani also swept the technical section, with a bare few going to other movies. Sanjay Leela Bhansali collected 9 awards in total.

Anupam Roy received his first Filmfare Award for Best Background Score for Piku.
