Ed Sheeran sets stage on fire during Mumbai concert, sings in Punjabi for first time

Popular British singer Ed Sheeran left his fans surprised and set the stage on fire when he sang in Punjabi for the first time during his concert in Mumbai on Saturday.

'Lover' is one of the popular tracks sung by Diljit Dosanjh, who has also acted in several Bollywood movies.

Mahalaxmi Race Course Grounds echoed with loud noise and cheers as fans applauded their electrifying performance onstage.

Both Diljit and Ed shared a video of their performance on Instagram.

Ed said he had an 'incredible time' performing in India.

He wrote on Instagram: "Got to bring out @diljitdosanjh tonight in Mumbai and sing in Punjabi for the first time. I’ve had such an incredible time in India, more to come!"

Diljit shared the video and wrote: "@teddysphotos Brother Singing in PANJABI for the First Time BURRAAAA Chak deya Ge."

Ed visited India and performed in the country as a part of his Asia and Europe Tour.

Indian celebrities joins Ed's concert

Madhuri Dixit, Farah Khan, and Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput, were among the celebrities who attended the Mumbai concert.

Bollywood beauty Madhuri Dixit wrote: "Happy Saturday! What a night yesterday Had the pleasure of meeting @teddysphotos at @farahkhankunder‘s party.
