Dev loses out Oscar to Mahershala

Los Angeles, Feb 27 (IBNS): Indian origin actor Dev Patel could not clinch the Oscars in the best supporting actor category.

He missed it to  "Moonlight" star Mahershala Ali.

Patel had won the nomination in the category for his performance in Garth Davis "Lion."
