COVID-19 positive Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya shifted to hospital

Mumbai/IBNS: Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya, who had tested COVID-19 positive, were shifted to hospital on Friday, media reports said.

Both Aishwarya and Aaradhya complained of throat pain and mild fever following which a team of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) reached their residence 'Jalsa' and shifted them to Nanavati Hospital in separate ambulances.

The 46-year-old actress along with her 8-year-old daughter had tested positive for the contagion a few days back after which they were at home isolation.

Earlier her father-in-law and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and husband Abhishek had tested positive for the virus.

They are presently undergoing treatment at the Nanavati Hospital.

Abhishek had announced in a tweet that his wife and daughter too tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Earlier Amitabh Bachchan had announced about him testing positive for the virus is a tweet.

His son too had confirmed about their condition in a tweet.
