Los Angeles/Xinhua/UNI/IBNS: Brad Pitt nabbed the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the film "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" at the 92nd Academy Awards ceremony, or the Oscars, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles last night.

Brad, who is always known for his powerful performance onscreen, beat Anthony Hopkins (The Two Popes), Tom Hanks (A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood), and The Irishman stars Al Pacino and Joe Pesci.

The award ceremony is currently going on.

India's Oscar entry for this year- Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy- failed to make it to the final list.
