Bonny Sengupta, Darshana Banik’s ‘C/O A Journey’ teaser promises a tale of love, friendship and a hidden connection

The film follows a boy who comes from a village to the city in search of his father, but gradually unfolds as a story involving three different people whose journeys become connected.

Beyond the search for his father, the narrative explores friendship and love, bringing together the characters of Bonny Sengupta and Darshana Banik in a different setting.

Directed by Pratik Sarkar, the film also features Trishanjit Chowdhury, Silajit Majumder, Sudip Mukherjee, Chandan Sen.

On working for the first time with actress Darshana Banik, actor Bonny Sengupta said, "This is not my first work with Darshana, it's the second time actually. As the first one was not released, technically it's the first. We've been friends for a long time, she's a very good actress and I really enjoyed the scenes with her."

Along with it, the film explores a friendship of two inter-generational people, forming the central thread of the film as three individual stories become connected.

Actor-singer Silajit Majumder said, "I'm not shown in the teaser because I'm a bad guy in this film. They actually insisted that I do this film. I'm very confident about this and I hope people will like it."

Director Pratik Sarkar added, "It is not just a journey of one person. It is a story of three different people, which is connected in one way. It is a story about friendship and love and the characters here will be different from others."

C/O A Journey also features a blend of music, with songs by Abhijit Barman aka Pata, Rupankar Bagchi, Rapurna Bhattacharyya and Anindya Chatterjee. There will be four songs in total, along with an unrevealed musical tribute woven into the film.

The makers are yet to announce its release date.
