Bollywood's 'grandmother' Asha Sharma dies at 88

Actress Asha Sharma, who was seen in several Bollywood movies and serials, has died, according to Cine and TV Artistes Association.

She was 88.

The cause of her death is still not clear.

She was seen playing the role of grandmother in most of the films.

She was seen in 1970 movie 'Do Dishayen' which featured major actors like Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Prem Chopra, among others.

She worked in other Bollywood movies like  'Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai', 'Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha', and 'Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam' and 'Adipurush'.
