Directed by Raihan Rafi and produced by Alpha-i, Chorki, and SVF, Toofan made headlines last year with its grand announcement of the male protagonist and the female lead.

In the film, Shakib will pair up with Tollywood superstar Mimi Chakraborty with Bangladeshi actress Nabila in the co-lead.

The film will hit the theatres later this year.
