B-Town supports team India over loss
Mumbai, Mar 26 (IBNS): Bollywood fraternity came out in support of team India, who crushed out of the World Cup after Australia defeated the current World Champions by 95 runs in the semi-final of the tournament here on Thursday.
Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who also turned a commentator for the World Cup this year, tweeted: "Ok, so we lost, so .. tell me one team in the world that has not faced defeat !! Do not despair, we shall repair !! BUCK UP INDIA !"
Actor Abhishek Bachchan posted: "INDIAN! And still VERY PROUD!! Well done boys. You played your hearts out throughout the tournament. #ICCWorldCup2015."
Actor Boman Irani posted: "That's that then! The better team won! Was wonderful sharing this WC with all of you! Will surely see you all at the finals! #AUSvIND #CWC15."
He also praised the team for their efforts and wrote: "Thank you Team India! You gave us a lot to cheer throughout! Our disappointment should never obscure your glorious effort! #AUSvIND #CWC15."
Actor Rahul Bose tweeted: "All in all a terrific World Cup for the Indian team. Very well played lads. #CWC15."
Actress Sushmita Bose wrote: "Congratulations Australia!!!! Well played!!!!:) welcome to the Finals!!!:) #WorldCup2015 cheers #INDIA."
Photographer Atul atul Kasbekar tweeted: "Very proud of our team. Played like Lions thru #CWC15. Lost to a better team on the day."
Actor Siddharth posted: "At the start of #CWC15 , we wouldve been proud to accept an unbeaten run to the semis. This team has done us all proud. #respect #sport."
