Anil V Kumar: When everyone enjoys their work, it gets easier to even work for long hours

Mumbai: Producer-director Anil V Kumar, who was specially roped in to direct the time leap episodes of Kundali Bhagya, got the chance to work with Manit Joura, Anjum Fakih and Abhishek Kapur. He says that working with them was an amazing experience.

“All of them are very amazing actors and human beings. Manit was there from the start of Kundali Bhagya and he always worked hard on his character. Anjum and Abhishek have also worked with me and they both were also a part of my other shows which I produced as well. They are performers and it’s good to work with actors who work hard on their characters and add nuances,” he says.

He adds, “We all share a great bond, I make sure when we are shooting, we all should have fun too because sometimes there is so much pressure and that shouldn’t affect anyone’s performance. When everyone enjoys their work, it gets easier to even work for long hours sometimes and still get the perfect frames. For me, each character should resonate with the audience and they should feel connected and that comes with a perfect combination of all this!”

Talking about having the perfect cast, Anil says that it goes a long way in the show doing well. “When you have great content and you are clear about the vision of the director, you believe in it and follow the same. A good cast gives you the perfect combination and it adds a lot more feel in each frame!” he says.

He adds, “It's always good to work with different actors for different roles and characters. Everyone has an X factor in them. And everyone is so good at their art.”
