Adnan Sami granted Indian citizenship?

Mumbai, Dec 31 (IBNS): Singer Adnan Sami, who is known for singing popular numbers like 'Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein', has been granted Indian citizenship, media reports said.

His citizenship will come to effect from Jan 1, reports said.

The Pakistani singer had earlier made a representation  to the Indian home ministry on the issue.

The singer was last given a  visa extension to stay in India in October, reports said.
