Actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol tests COVID-19 positive

New Delhi: Bollywood actor and BJP MP Sunny Deol on Wednesday said he has tested positive for COVID-19.

“I got myself tested for coronavirus and the result has come back positive. I am in isolation and feeling well. I request that all those who came in contact with me recently should isolate themselves and get tested,” the actor wrote in Hindi on Twitter.

The actor is a BJP MP from Gurdaspur.

Sunny will soon be seen in a sequel of his upcoming movie Apne.

The movie is scheduled to hit the silverscreen on Diwali 2021.

The movie will feature Sunny's father Dharmendra, brother Bobby Deol and son Karan Deol.
